Phytogram workshop with Sophie Sherwood

Wednesday 26 July at 10:00 am to 11:30 am

£17

Join Sophie Sherwood for this phytogram workshop. Using vitamin CAn example of light sensitive prints using leaves. tablets and washing soda, you will learn how to make your very own light sensitive chemistry. This can then be applied on to light sensitive materials such as 35mm film to create unique prints. This process was discovered by the artist Karel Doing as a way for people to connect with nature more through photography. In the workshop, we will make relief prints using this process with leaves, feathers, and other flat objects, then process these using fixer to make them translucent so that they can be taken home and displayed.
