Jekka McVicar: The Myth and Magic of Herbs

We are delighted that our President has agreed to give us another lecture. The illustrated talk will explain how herbs have been used through the ages and some of the quirkier myths and stories that surround them. It will not only demonstrate how magical they are in the making of elixirs and oxymels, but also how essential they are in the kitchen and the garden.
All lectures start at 7pm for approx 45 minutes, followed by a question and answer session. If possible please put your questions on to the chat facility within Zoom during the lecture. Once you have been admitted to the Zoom meeting please ensure your sound is muted.
We hope you will be able to join us from approx 6.55pm using the link above. Please note that there is a limit of 100 people which will be on a first come first served basis with no pre-booking.
