Oxford Botanic Garden symposium. Celebrating Botanic Gardens: Past, Present and Future.

Thursday 21 October 2021 at 2:00 pm to Friday 22 October 2021 at 7:30 pm

Free

Oxford Botanic Garden is hosting a free, online symposium to explore the vital role played by Botanic Gardens around the world. Welcoming renowned speakers to this international arena, the talks provide a unique opportunity for the public to see behind the scenes of plant science, presented by the people who are working to secure a greener future, including our own Curator Nick Wray.

The conference covers a range of topics and will include something for everyone to enjoy; from students and teachers to gardeners and those who just enjoy watching TED Talks. Hear about the evolution of the world’s largest flowers, artificial intelligence, insect agriculture, and much more.
