Fundraising Friends’ Lecture – An Evening with Adam Frost

A special fundraising lecture for the Friends’ Education and Training Fund
Join Adam Frost as he shares his life in gardening, starting out with his grandparents, then an apprenticeship in the Parks Department, time spent with Geoff Hamilton, and his story of the Chelsea Flower Show and how he ended up on Gardener’s World. With many more stories along the way!
The Friends’ Education and Training Fund supports the Horticultural Trainee scheme at the University of Bristol Botanic Garden, and was set up to ensure the support of the Friends for horticulturalists of the future. Trainees are funded by the Friends for 2 years whilst working with the Garden team and studying for RHS qualifications. Many go on to further study and work at other historic gardens. The Friends thank you for your genorosity.

Attendees can use the following University car parks: Sports Centre, The Hawthorns, Woodland Road (12, 15, 17 & 19) and University Walk
There is free on-street parking (ticket required) from 6:30pm on these streets: St Michael’s Park, Woodland Road (north), Priory Road
There is metered on-street parking on Tyndall Avenue, Elton Road and University Road.
