Art and nature will be on display this Easter at the University of Bristol Botanic Garden annual Sculpture and Arts Festival. The event will also celebrate 20 years of the garden being at The Holmes in Stoke Bishop.

Around 25 local artists will be displaying their sculptures and artwork made from stone, ceramic, wood, metal, and wire — including a Welsh dragon to a re-imagined rocking horse. Along with regular artists, four UWE art students will be showcasing their sculptures for the first time. Looking for something new for the house or garden? Many larger artworks are availble to purchase from the artist, as well as smaller ceramics, greetings cards, prints and lampshades!

With hot and cold light refreshments availble from Chandos Deli, the Friend’s plant sale, guided tours of the Garden, this will be a lovely event with something for everyone to enjoy! There will also be artist demonstrations and teaching of pot throwing, willow weaving (Sunday & Monday only), and stone carving, with the opportunity to try your hand at some of these crafts. (Please note that while there is no extra charge for these activities, there is limited capacity and could be a long wait!)

The Easter Sculpture and Arts Festival at the will take place from Good Friday, 18 April, until Easter Monday, 21 April, from 10 am to 5 pm.

Tickets include Garden entry, and are available at the gate only – there is no facility to book online tickets this year.

Entry [card only] to the Botanic Garden Easter Sculpture and Arts Festival is adults £11 with a gift aid donation (£10 without); £5 to University staff and Alumni; FREE to Friends of the Garden, ALL students, children under-18 and carers of visitors.

Parking: There is a small amount of parking for disabled visitors in our walled car park.
