Easter Sculpture Festival

The Easter Sculpture Festival returns again this April. Amble around in the serene atmosphere of the Botanic Garden and discover art among the plant life. Wildlife feature in intricate mosaics, while stone figures frolic in the Mediterranean display; elsewhere sci fi metal work shimmers, and plant-like ceramics unfurl; in the glasshouses African carnival faces smile down.
During the event visitors can view and buy sculpture, enjoy demonstrations and have a go themselves at of willow weaving, pottery, woodturning, and stone carving with experts on hand to give tips and advice. There will be guided tours of the Garden throughout the weekend for visitors can see the flowers of spring and learn about the wonders of the plant world.
The Friends of the Garden will be running their usual high quality plant sale, helping you to give your garden a spring lift.
Tea and cake will be provided by Chandos Deli who will be serving their usual range of delicious treats on the West Terrace.
