Children’s seed sowing workshop

A seed tray full of pea sproutsCome and join the spring fun and join our drop in seed sowing for children and young families at the University Botanic Garden.

Seed sowing, compost selection and interaction for young children as available on Tuesday 27 May 12noon to 3.30pm. Parents can come to the Botanic Garden and drop in (normal entrance pricing applies ) and join in with Horticultural expert Helen Boyd. Sown pots can be decoratively labelled and taken home for you to follow the germination process’.

The seeds you will sow; popping peas, bouncing beans, crazy carrots, its spring and time to start sowing with your little ones.

Adult entrance pricing applies to Botanic Garden.

Workshop fee £5 per child, infants free, pay on door at welcome lodge.

NO pre booking required.
