Tipping Point – Luke Jerram

Friday 4 October at 6:30 pm to Sunday 6 October at 9:30 pm

£7.50
The Botanic Garden will be ablaze this autumn with Luke Jerram’s Tipping Point, a multi-sensory installation of forest fires using lights, sound, and smoke.Orange-toned image of a coniferous forest glowing with fire, and its reflection in a lake below. Text reads 'Tipping Point' and 'A new work by Luke Jerram'
Visitors will travel through the Garden and among the fires of the Evolution Dell and Mediterranean displays in this new work by Luke Jerram. Tipping Point draws attention to the alarming speed of global nature loss and the scale of fossil fuel use, deforestation – and how our pension investments fund this. A soundtrack from BAFTA award winning composer Dan Jones will give context to the scene.
The exhibition will run on October 4th, 5th, 6th, with two sessions per evening. The first viewing from 6:30pm and the second from 8pm.

£7.50 – standard entry
£5 – Friends of the Garden, University of Bristol Staff
Free – Students, children under 18, essential carers of visitors, University of Bristol alumni
