Herald the spring with a special tour with the Curator

Sunday 23 February at 10:30 am to 12:00 pm

A stroll around the Botanic Garden really raises your spirits whatever the weather. Curator, Nick Wray, will be leading his first tour of the year to show some of the secret surprises in the garden in winter. Delight in the fragrant plum blossom of Prunus mume which features in so many Chinese silk paintings.

Also look out for hellebores, winter box, snowdrops, winter aconites and crocus through the Garden. The Curator will then guide you into the different worlds experienced in the glasshouses where you will find flowering orchids, bromeliads and South African bulbs.

Come rain or shine there will be plenty to see. Tours are an excellent opportunity to hear updates of the innumerable new developments and also learn about plants of seasonal interest.

Admission: Free to Friends, children, university staff and students. Visitors £7.70 (includes optional £0.70 Gift Aid donation for UK taxpayers.). Please meet at Welcome Lodge.
