Drawn to Nature: with Sheena Vallely and Pick Up a Pencil group

Wednesday 24 February at 11:00 am to Wednesday 28 April at 1:00 pm

| £115

This is a drawing course designed to develop your confidence in drawing and improve your drawing skills using the plants growing around you. It will give you a chance to immerse yourself in a shared experience of drawing, to allow your mind to switch off from the current alterations to our daily life and engage with the restorative powers of nature.

For the present, the course will be conducted via our designated drawing group on Whatsapp and email. Every week you will receive drawing exercises, a video call, individual feedback and an online gallery will display everyone’s work throughout the course.

Materials required: pencils, sharpener and paper.

Testimonials from our online drawing courses in 2020:

“Thank you Sheena for your comments and I will try to take them all on board. I benefit from your comments to me and to others as well. The course was challenging but it has pushed me forward I think. We have an impressive exhibition in the gallery now that I enjoy scrolling through from time to time, so thank you all. Looking forward to the next course.” Audrey.

“Thanks so much for your comments and inspiration. I have loved doing the exercises and the encouragement to look differently at familiar surroundings. Many thanks again – I am looking forward to more explorations of the outdoors.” Kate
